Microbiological Tests

Many products are susceptible to contamination by pathogens.

These contaminations can occur during the production phase,

packaging and/or during use by the consumer.

In order to assess correct compliance with good manufacturing

practices, as well as minimize the risk to consumer health,

products should be subject to microbiological controls:

• Mesophilic aerobic bacteria count

• Mold and yeast count

• Escherichia coli

• Staphylococcus aureus

• Pseudomonas aeruginosa

• Candida albicans
