Request for assignment of a National Product Code (CNP)
The National Product Code (CNP) is a code assigned by the National Association of Pharmacies (ANF), which allows the identification of health products in the pharmacy channel circuit. The CNP application is optional, with associated costs, and is intended only for the national market, but it is an added value in commercial transactions in pharmacies, as it allows speed and ease of communication in the commercial circuit, allows an increase in the potential for advice in the sale and also an increase in the quality and safety of product information.
The coding application process shall be submitted by electronic means to the ANF through the registration form with the manufacturer or distributor's data, the documents inherent in the product to be encoded, and the payment of associated fees. The allocation of coding for a food supplement presupposes prior registration at the Antivenom Information Centre (CIAV).
If you want to make the request for coding your products, you can count on the support of Pharmilab to handle all the steps of the process.
